Known as the fastest growing city in Texas, Pasadena has a population of just under 150,000 residents. It is located off Highway 225 between Houston and Deer Park and received its name because the lush vegetation resembled that of Pasadena, California. It is the home of San Jacinto College and the Texas Chiropractic College as well as being closely associated with the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center.
