The Georgetown Opry features two Southern gospel shows a month and the Place Theater offers live music and entertainment. You just might be in time to enjoy the sounds of the Georgetown Symphony Society at one of the four concerts this group holds each year. First Fridays is an arts and craft show that is held on the first Friday of each month from March through December.

For your recreation needs, you can enjoy a day of fishing, swimming, boating, hiking and camping at Lake Georgetown.
