Knoxville is one of the most popular cities to visit in the state of Tennessee and there are a lot of attractions that you can visit within this city. Three interstates run through the city so it has easy access from all directions.

The Frank H. McClung Museum is a museum that has a great collection of decorative arts, archeology, anthropology, medicine and local history.
For the sports and more specifically the basketball lover, you can visit the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. This honors the best female basketball players and has numerous activities and scheduled events.
The Knoxville Zoo is another one of the sites you cannot miss when visiting Knoxville. This zoo is located in the hills of East Tennessee and you will be able to see animals such elephants, giraffes, monkeys, birds and much more. Ljams Nature Center is also a great place for those who love animals and nature.
And for those who love art more than animal life, The Tennessee Theater offers a great variety of performances. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra often performs there. The Bijou Theater is the oldest business building in Knoxville and it is still hosting a lot of art and musical events.
