West Springfield - Massachusetts - United States. Guide & Hotel Reservations from Cheap Hotels
Bordering the eastern boundary of the Connecticut River, you will find the town of West Springfield, Massachusetts. This is the home of the Morgan Horse and the second largest town in Western Massachusetts. A fur trader and merchant, named William Pyncheon, who set up a plantation here, originally purchased the land from the Algonkian Indians in 1636.
