Plymouth is built on history and that is what you will find here and lots of it. Visit the Harlow Old Fort House, which dates back to 1677 and now functions as a museum. Although the Jenny Grist Mill is not the original mill from 1847, it has been reconstructed and features a museum and shops. The Spooner House will be another interesting place to see, which will take you through the lives of the Spooner Family who continually occupied it for five generations.

Visit the Forefather's Monument - the largest granite monument in the United States or Plymouth Rock. This site marks the spot where the pilgrims first set foot in the New World in their quest for religious freedom. See the reproduction of the Mayflower II, which includes a host of educational exhibits. Then there is Pilgrim Hall Museum. This chronicles the struggle of the Pilgrims. Here you will see artifacts of the past that will amaze you.
