Located on the west banks of the Mississippi River, Port Allen is the governmental center of West Baton Rouge Parish. Another popular activity is the Christmas Bonfest where there are spectacular bonfires and live entertainment. Thousands of people visit on December 23rd to dance and sing the night away.
