Just 20 miles to the south of Indianapolis, the city of Franklin, Indiana, has a great deal to offer to residents and visitors alike. There are many examples of early architecture in Franklin, which is easily visible as you walk through the town, such as the Johnson County Courthouse built between 1879 and 1881. The First Presbyterian was one of the first churches to be built in this town and its Gothic architectural style is truly a sight to behold.
