The Hotel Top Calella Palace itself was really nice, rooms big and clean. Nice balcony too!!!
Only real downside is the restaurant it was always really busy. You had to wait on a seat, you had to queue for ages to get a drink to go with your meal and if you liked PORK everyday you'll enjoy the food!!!
Entertainment was also very poor, shows not up to much!!
Adult only bar good, don't need to queue long for drinks. Roof top also good as free from kids!!

We booked the hotel before reading any revues and so were a little worried when we read some on this site. We took our earplugs and slept very well each night. Rooms were superb, spacious and cleaned well each day. Service all round was superb, the reception staff speak fluent English and are very helpful. The meals were delicious with a carvery on Saturday evenings. Everything was fresh and well presented with the chef on hand to order new trays when anything ran low. Sunbathing on the rooftop is highly recommended. Overal we thought it excellent value for money. The train station is only a short walk through town and a return trip to Barcelona is only 6 Euros, we also visited Girona on the train and the lovely Sunday market at Tordora. Can't understand some of the reviews we read, did they stay at the same hotel? -My only advice is to go to Boots shop and buy some earplugs.

Absolutely terrible, walls so thin that you can hear next door breathing, also full of foul mouthed drunks during our visit....never again...I'd rather poke my eyes with cocktail sticks. !!!
