Take time to go up the lift which takes you to the museum of modern art. Pretty walks and a different view of the town, especially in the early evening as the light catches the fort. The sound of church bells at 6pm was impressive from there! The euro being almost at one with sterling made everything very expensive. £6 for a bottle of water!! Ouch!..
The "Sound of Music Tour" was good. Besides all those famous places, one must go up the Kapuzinerberg to have a breathtaking view of the whole of Salzburg. ..
